The research group of Prof. Dominik Eder @TU Wien is currently organizing a 1.5-day-long workshop dedicated to Photoluminescence Spectroscopy and its application in Materials Research. This event will be co-hosted by PicoQuant – a worldwide leader in the development and manufacturing of high quality photonic components and instruments for a broad range of applications including PL – and will be hosted @TU Wien (Getreidemarkt Campus) on 19-20 February 2026. This event is about bringing together people who are passionate about PL and will have a special focus on materials and solid-state measurements. As a part of this workshop, we will have several experts working in academia and industry to present some of their work on solid-state PL measurements within the realm of photoactive materials relevant to CoE MECS. Besides, we are also planning a series of short user talks where anyone is invited to present the way they use PL to answer their research questions. The last day of the workshop will feature practical hands on session. The workshop is free of charge and is now open for registration via the platform organized by PicoQuant.
